Getting Started
Handled Home Solutions is a home safety company focused on helping older adults stay safer at home.
We identify fall hazards in the home, prioritize what needs attention, coordinate safety improvements, and keep families informed with ongoing oversight.
You get a clear plan and someone accountable for following through, even if you cannot be there yourself.
A home that worked last year may no longer work as well after a change in balance, mobility, vision, or health. You can check the home before a preventable hazard becomes a crisis. Remove, Replace, Remedy.
You start with a free initial call. If it makes sense, we schedule a home safety walkthrough - we come to the home, walk through it room by room, and tell you honestly what we find. There's no obligation to do anything after.
Plan for about an hour in the home. You'll get a clear picture of the risks we found and what we'd recommend addressing first - with no obligation to buy anything.
Not necessarily. The first step is simply understanding what the home actually needs. Many families find the gap is practical, not clinical.
We're based in Houston and serve Houston and the surrounding communities. We're also hearing from more families outside the Houston area. If your loved one lives outside our area, reach out - we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
That's a large part of who we serve. Handled is designed for families who can't be physically present every day but still need to know the home is being looked after.

Services & Safety
No. Handled provides non-medical home safety, home support, coordination, and aging-in-place services. We do not provide nursing, medical treatment, or hands-on personal care.
The everyday hazards that cause falls and accidents - loose rugs, dim lighting, missing grab bars, uneven thresholds, cluttered walkways. We prioritize what matters most first.
Yes. Our work is in-person. We assess the home, coordinate updates, and return for scheduled visits where your plan includes them.
It's our service for hospital discharges - we prepare the home before someone comes back from the hospital, and help stabilize the first weeks so recovery doesn't get derailed by the house.

Cost & Scheduling
Plans start at $299 a month. Free initial call. In-home Home Safety Assessment: $500. Home Safety Installations and approved repairs are quoted separately and always approved by you first.
Handled provides non-medical home support that identifies hazards, recommends fixes, and coordinates approved work. Whether it is right for you depends on the person's needs and circumstances.
Every program is monthly. 90 days is the upfront commitment, then month to month. The $500 assessment is charged separately. It's free if you sign up for 1 year (prorated per month). The $500 assessment is included in the Safe Return Home™ program.
It depends on your plan - quarterly, monthly, or weekly. Higher-need situations, like a recent hospital discharge, usually call for more frequent visits.

No. Handled identifies home hazards, recommends fixes, and coordinates approved work. We're the option many families didn't know existed between doing nothing and moving a parent out.
Handled team members who enter a client's home are insured and vetted.
Yes. Family communication is built into the service. After each visit you get a summary of what we saw, what we did, and what needs attention.
